2021-2022 Season: Countdown to Monday!

On Monday at 3:15 pm, the technical staff, led by coach Yves Vanderhaeghe, will start preparing for the new season. 23 outfield players and 3 goalkeepers will comprise the squad; here's an overview of the Groen-Zwart's preparation for the new season:

Due to the construction of a new hybrid pitch, training will take place -- at least until mid-July -- on 'Field 8' of the Jan Breydel Stadium, the most distant of the two 'A core' fields which sit next to the offices of the Cercle Brugge Youth Academy. Fans who would like to come and watch one of the training sessions can do so via a space provided next to the Youth Academy.

Earlier this week it was announced that Cercle will also play six friendly matches in preparation for the new season. Four of these matches have already been confirmed; the other two will be announced shortly. On Thursday and Friday, all of the players underwent their physicals -- here is an overview of the players who will train starting Monday:
