Beerschot-Cercle postponed

The Pro League has just announced that Beerschot-Cercle Brugge, initially scheduled for Saturday December 19 at 6:30 pm, will be postponed based on the COVID-19 protocol. At Beerschot, at least 7 players tested positive for the coronavirus, after which the team submitted a request to postpone the game. The calendar manager just agreed to this.

There is not yet a new date for the match. Cercle Brugge wishes a fast recovery to all infected players.

Fun fact after Beerschot-Cercle Brugge last Wednesday: Anthony Musaba's equalizer was already the 5th goal this season for the Dutch attacker. Musaba is the second youngest player in the competition with 5 goals to his name. Only Ismaïla Coulibaly from Beerschot is even younger.

In fact, Musaba's statistics are even better: he has already collected 3 assists, while Coulibaly has not yet had a single assist to his name.
