Cercle arrive well and safely at their training camp in Benidorm

Cercle arrived safely on Sunday afternoon for their training camp in Benidorm where the team will stay until Sunday. Monday was the first training session on Spanish soil. Next Friday at 3 pm, a friendly match will be played against AS Monaco.

Cercle will also share the hotel in Benidorm with Monaco during this week of training. The Monegasques will only arrive in Spain on Tuesday, so Cercle has the entire hotel to itself for a while. On Friday, both teams will also train against each other on the practice fields, and the match will kick off at 3:00 PM.

The following players have traveled to Benidorm: Majecki, Sousa, Daland, Popovic, Utkus, Kehrer, Decostere, Denkey, Hotic, Gboho, Vanhoutte, Francis, Miangue, Velkovski, Warleson, Lopes Da Silva, Deman, Marcelin, Van Der Bruggen, Torres, Somers, Wilke Braams, Sampers, Ravych, Lucker, Lietaert, Martlé, Langenbick & Bruzzese.

The first training session took place this Monday morning. Under a radiant sun, an initial warm-up was led by training coaches Eddie Lattimore and Nick Van Ransbeeck. Afterwards, the next part of the session was focused on passing formations and finishing. Then training was concluded with some 'fun' activities: for example, the players had to try to be the first to get a ball into a box in groups and while juggling.
