Ahead of Cercle Brugge-RSC Anderlecht next Sunday evening at 20h45, at least three players are missing in the selection of Yves Vanderhaeghe. An overview:
Medical update ahead of Cercle-Anderlecht
- Charles Vanhoutte stopped training early this week after suffering from a hamstring injury. To avoid a tear, Vanhoutte is kept on the sidelines as a precaution.
- Dimitar Velkovski will not be fit in time for Sunday either: the Bulgarian is suffering from a thigh problem and has to rest. Both Vanhoutte and Velkovski need to get fit for next week's game at Mouscron.
- Hannes Van Der Bruggen suffered a hand fracture this week. There was still an attempt to get Van Der Bruggen ready to play for Sunday with a brace, but the midfielder was in too much pain. It is expected that Van Der Bruggen will be able to play pain-free from next weekend onwards.
